Day 98 Part 2 - Apology

This is my APOLOGY

Words were mixed and taken wrong on all parts and this is my apology to Terra Fender, Susan Billings & 2 Facebook groups. I had 5 takes to come up with this video, I am not sure how it will be received.

First, there is a grey area when you talk about Face & Body Art Products & Services and I am going to back down and say that what Terra Fender does, encompasses all areas. She also put 2 great groups together in one called "Art of Body Experience" which is a positive place to post your photos, comments, questions, business info and a place to Buy, Sell & Trade body art Products & Services. A must see and join!

So this is my apology to Terra Fender, of Bella Rouge Design (Facebook Page), for including her in something she should not have been a part of anyway.

I am apologizing to Susan Billings, Founder of Washington DC Metro Area Face Painters & Woodbridge VA Face Painters JAM Facebook group, for misinterpretations and misunderstandings that could have been avoided. As to how they could be avoided, we already talked about that on the phone. Short call, but totally understandable.

I am apologizing to the 2 Facebook groups involved for causing a negative environment and promise to not do it again. My comments were just as destructive and that is why they were removed. No to save face but to stop what should not have been there in the first place.

This is my version of an Olive Branch, and eve though it is UGLY, I extend it to everyone who might have been affected by this and my apologies go out.

Now, one last thing, I did not take down the other video. I will not, because I still do not see the problem with it. I have had worse rants and they are still up and no one is asking me to take them down. If this hurts me, so be it, but it should not hurt anyone else as there are no names. I will make it harder to find, by making it unlisted, but it will still be there.

It is very hard to make an apology for something you don't think you did wrong, but in the end, it is the right thing to do. So please except my apologies!

Day 98 - Complaints have a place!

DISCLAIMER:
This video contains a rant that has been solved, but it is still important!

So I was unable to do a tutorial on UV neon paints, for the simple fact that I was unprepared. I did not know what the paints would look like until I got home and turned on my blacklights.

There are several variances in the paint and I need to experiment more and work out the details before making a UV video.

The rest of the video speaks for itself!

Until tomorrow, HAPPY PAINTING!

Day 97 - Videos without Hassle!

So I wanted to show you a little about my life here and what I eat and do, but some people do not understand what I am doing and make a scene when I walk in the room.  I will have to wait till next week to do the video I wanted.

Tonight I will be making a UV Tutorial video and will post snippets on YouTube so you can see, but the actual tutorial will be on the Tutorials website.

I am also going to the April meeting for the VA Highlands Fetival and will give you some details as to what is going on tomorrow.

Until then, Happy Painting!

Day 95-96 - Back Home!

Sorry there was no video yesterday, but I had no internet and that's life!

I did get a package in from European Body Art, who contacted me via Facebook SMS, when I was in Now Orleans, LA. It had 2 samples, black and white liquid pigment and their company logo stencil. As I do not usually use an airbrush, I am not sure how I can demonstrate it. I do have a nail airbrush system that I can modify for a video, but instead, maybe I can get European Body Art to sponsor me with a travel kit (Hint, Hint) so I can demo their products and make videos for YouTube and my Tutorials website. Post a comment if you would like to see this happen.

Also, we did some face painting yesterday as early birthday gifts for the 2 children you see in the video. I will post photos below.

Until tomorrow, happy painting.

Day 94 - Columbus, GA

So we are here in.... Wait, the video and title already say where I am, why am I telling you? Oh, that's okay, I know it is a little strange to wash your fish with a zucchini  loofah, but the melon baby has to ex-foliate it's sternum before it goes night night with the bean bag rainbow zebra named "Snootches".

Stop looking at me like I am strange, it's the water I tell ya and there is nothing you can say that bring my insanity back to the front of my pants. The reality is, that I wish I was sane enough to compose a good blog that does not have to make sense and will just cause others to laugh at my ramblings.

So until tomorrow, Have fun painting!

Day 93 - End of Fair

So it is the end of the Picayune, MS Main Street Fair and we had a good time, not a lot of money, but a good time. Made a lot of friends and will probably do it again in the Fall and Spring.

Here are a few photos of what we did on our last day!
