Day 279 - A lot of editing to do!

Just got back from the workshop and took over 1600 photos, that with yesterdays 500 photos that still have to be edited. Will have photos up tomorrow. Promise they will be awesome!

Going to work on them now, so until tomorrow, HAPPY PAINTING! 

Day 278 - On My Way

Heading out right now for Farmville, VA to meet up with a fellow face painter who owns a salon. His name is Rodney Burley. We are going to paint up a couple of models for an event at 6PM.

After that I am heading up to Fredericksburg, VA, where I am staying at a friends house, Kerri Hester Cadwell, and carpooling in the morning over to Michelle Heffners house for the Halloween workshop Dutch Bihary is giving.

I promise to take lots of photos of both days and post them here in this blog.

Day 277 - Week In Review

Here is the recipe:

2 Tablespoons Unflavored Gelatin
2 Tablespoons Glycerin
2 Tablespoons Water
(optional) Food Coloring

Combine all 3 ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 20 seconds, if doing a double amount, wait 5 seconds and reheat for an additional 15 seconds.

You can make as much or as little as you want and you can reuse it over and over again. You can even use it to make your own prosthetic by pouring the heated gelatin into molds and letting it set.

Have fun with this cheap and easy way of making SFX for Halloween or just about any other time!

Day 275-276 - It is starting!

My business is picking up and I have been too busy lately and am forgetting to post blogs. I have been working on a few projects for this winter and made some more connections today. I am also getting ready to leave for a class I am attending this Thursday.

I will be making my Wednesday video tomorrow since I will be on the road most that day. You don't want to miss out on my Week In Review video, it will show you how to make a cheap product you can use during Halloween.

Day 274 - RamFest 2011

I messed up and missed a payed event I was supposed to be at today. The Buddy Walk in Johnson City. I am so upset at my self for not keeping track of my gigs. I feel like a complete moron.

Instead I did RamFest 2011, a first annual event at Anderson Elementary in Bristol, TN. I made a lot of kids smile and also made a little donation to their cause while I was at it! Here are the photos I promised the parents, Hope you like!
